XS CAD India - First In India to Offer AutoCAD MEP Services
XS CAD India Pvt. Limited (a leading ISO9001:2000 certified AEC CAD Services company based in Mumbai) has recently become the first company in India to offer dedicated 3D MEP (Building Services) modelling and spatial co-ordination services using AutoCAD MEP software from Autodesk.
AutoCAD MEP is Autodesk's most sophisticated product for MEP (M&E) coordination to date and offers a range of flexible features, benefits and built-in intelligence. A selection of some of the features is detailed below:
- Multi-Service Modelling Capability - HVAC, pipework, electrical & public health
- Project Standards - Allows synchronisation of styles, setting of display settings and tools to aid consistency for each project/client.
- Engineering Data - object enabled elements allow data to be extracted easily including sizing, specifications etc.
- Sections & Elevations - new 'live sections' area allows changes to the model to be reflected to section and elevation outputs instantly.
- Compatibility with ADT - with its AutoCAD platform MEP is fully compliant with Architectural Desktop models.
- More Content - supports ASTM/ANSI standards, more pipe and electrical related equipment, available in imperial or metric measurements
- Improved Usability - allows quick design changes with minimal effort e.g. sizing changes to pipes, ducts & containment.
- DWG and DWF Creation - Easily allows DWG and DWF creation to aid the design to documentation process.
MEP projects are managed directly from the Mumbai office but also via our other offices in the UK. The team in India currently includes a HVAC Design Engineer and an Electrical Design Engineer along with a team of 3D Modelers who are amongst India's first set of AutoCAD MEP users.
XS CAD India is already providing a 3D modeling and coordination services using MEP for a large MEP project for a UK client and will continue to roll out the service to new and existing customers in the next few months.
With a current staff count of 50 employees XS CAD India continues to lead the CAD services market in India for MEP Building Services Projects.
