XS CAD provides 3d structural modeling services for bespoke projects but also to compliment and support our architectural and MEP modeling and design services.

Our structural CAD modeling experience includes a range of structural materials such as wood, steel and concrete for all aspects of structural support for a range of projects. Our work typically involves creation of a 3d structural model via a range of structural modeling tools such as Autodesk Revit Structures, Solid Builder, Tekla Structures and a number of customized packages that are created by our customers for bespoke structural modeling and design.

Once created our 3d models are used for a range of purposes including creation of plans for foundations, framing and beam sizing. Our 3d structural models are also used for interference checking and control when used with other services such as architectural and MEP domains.

Our current experience includes creation of structural steel, concrete and wood structures for new home builders, hospitals, universities and commercial buildings. Our models are used as the basis for manufacturing in most cases and therefore the quality and accuracy of the structural model is vital. In some cases our structural models are created as BIM tools to allow greater integration with other disciplines and also to ensure that a multi-disciplinary model is available for handover at the end of a project.
