Working with main contractors, multi-disciplinary consultants, M&E contractors and architects our M&E and architectural design validation services allow the design of any particular discipline to be assessed for accuracy and effectiveness and cross referenced with other disciplines to ensure feasibility and practicality.

Architectural and Structural Design Validation

Typically working with main contractors our approach for structural design elements includes the following:

• Architectural Design Audit: We review drawings from architectural and then structural disciplines to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency. Inconsistencies and errors are identified and reported along with our risk assessment.
• 3D Architectural and Structural Modelling: We create virtual 3D CAD models of the architectural and structural elements to physically validate a design. The benefit of a 3D Model allows our customers to communicate any design issues with a wider audience including their client.

M&E (MEP) Design Validation

Working with M&E Consulting Engineers, we provide a design validation service to ensure a more complete and accurate design is issued. Our M&E design validation services include the following:

• M&E Design Audit: We review M&E drawings for consistency and accuracy with the M&E design drawings from both mechanical and electrical disciplines as well as structure and architecture.
• M&E Design Drawings: We create detailed design drawings and sections (using the latest multi-discipline design information). Read more about our M&E Design Drawing Services.
• M&E Modelling: We create 3D models for plant, ceiling voids and riser areas for visual verification purposes. Models typically use accurately sized plant and the latest structural information. M&E Models can be presented in a range of formats including realistic models utilising our M&E Visualisation services.
• M&E Coordination: In cases where the M&E Engineer has responsibility for spatial coordination. We provide a complete Coordinated Drawing Service.

Our design validation services are carried out using a range of software from Autodesk. We also utilise our 3D CAD services, for 3D design validation using the latest 3D technology from Autodesk, including AutoCAD MEP or Autodesk Revit.
