At XS CAD, we provide engineering consultants and designers with a range of M&E CAD Services including M&E design drawings for all aspects of the M&E design process.

Design Drawings - We work with consultants throughout the RIBA Stage D and RIBA Stage E elements of the engineering design process. We provide schematics, layouts and section drawings for all services (electrical, mechanical and public health). Where required, our drawings also include consideration for spatial coordination - with services and also with other disciplines. By working closely with consultants and designers, our M&E design drawings help to ensure that the design is well prepared for the next phase of a project i.e. for construction status.

Design Development - Once the M&E Design Drawings are issued we provide an ongoing service to manage design updates for all drawings forming part of the design. Utilising online collaboration systems and operating in a controlled environment we provide a service to evaluate design issues affecting the drawings before agreeing a resolution with the designing consultant. All changes are carefully managed to ensure all drawings are updated and version controlled as required.

M&E Design Modelling - As part of our service we are also able to create 3D models to verify and validate the engineering design. All such models are created using compatable software to allow onward use.

In cases where 3D M&E design validation is required, we provide a 3D M&E Design Validation service where we ensure that the concept is visualised and validated using sophisticated 3D modelling and 3D viewing tools.
